Remote Patient Monitoring Setup Specialist - Job Description

HealthXL provides virtual patient care services under the guidelines of Medicare’s Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs. HealthXL contracts with physician practices to provide CCM/RPM services to their Medicare patients. The Set-Up Specialist (SUS) initiates post-enrollment activities to ensure patients receive equipment, are set up and understand the devices they will be using and facilitates initial readings. A successful SUS will exhibit excellent verbal communication skills, a thorough understanding of the RPM devices and the ability to work in multiple platforms simultaneously. Full-time remote positions available.

Responsibilities

• Create order for services following tailored workflows for individual clients
• Place device orders for individual patients
• Track order details and expected delivery date on a regular basis
• Initiate outbound call to patient to
  • Ensure devices were received
  • Provide instructions for set-up of each device
  • Explain each device, its purpose and proper use
  • Facilitate the first reading on each device and ensure transmission is received
  • Set expectation for frequency/timing of vitals readings
  • Answer questions and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Maintain accurate records related to all set-up activities and attempts to contact
• Complete other miscellaneous tasks, directives, or projects as assigned by leadership

• Quick study on use of computer systems
• Ability to provide accurate, thorough documentation

• Fluent English required but proficiency in other languages a plus
